
In Dirlos, unknown people stole two expensive bicycles from a carport – another break-in into a garage, however, left nothing.
Künzell – Theft and burglary in Dirlos: Between Tuesday evening (April 28th), 10 p.m., and Wednesday afternoon (April 29th), 2:45 p.m., there were two incidents in the Künzell district, as the East Hesse police headquarters reported in a press release. While high-quality e-bikes were stolen, a garage break-in remained empty-handed.
Police are investigating possible connections to the thefts in Dirlo
On Wasserkuppenstrasse, unknown people were targeting two e-bikes from the manufacturer “Cube”. At the time of the crime, the bikes were under a bicycle carport in an apartment building and were additionally secured there with a chain lock. Thieves picked the lock and fled on their bikes.
During the same period of the crime, unknown persons forcibly gained access to a garage on Kohlgrunder Strasse. As the police announced, according to the current status of the investigation, nothing was stolen. It is still unclear whether there is a direct connection between the e-bike theft and the garage break-in and is being investigated by the police.
The officers are asking for your help and are looking for witnesses who made suspicious observations during the time of the crime. The police in the Fulda district were also concerned about several break-ins. Unknown people broke into apartments and commercial properties and stole cash and bank cards.
