He himself remains silent, but the many acts accused of him speak for themselves:
Dirk K. is back in court in Dresden – the man, whom investigators classify as a dangerous child molester, is said to have used his dog like a weapon against people.
Convicted child molester Dirk K.: Trial involving dog attacks, rape and drugs
The public prosecutor's office is convinced that the 42-year-old is anything but a blameless dog owner. Dirk K., a drywaller from Saxony, is once again in the dock at the Dresden Regional Court – and this time it's not just about serious sexual offenses, but also about brutal attacks with his Rottweiler.

In just one month, the investigators are said to have counted three incidents involving the large dog in Riesa: At a gas station, K. got into an argument with a man, and according to the prosecution, he goaded the Rottweiler – the animal jumped at the victim and bit him on the hip.
During another argument with two men, the dog is said to have torn up a sports bag, once again pushed up by the owner. A seven-year-old is hit worst: the Rottweiler runs through Riesa without a leash, attacks the boy and bites the glove on his right hand – the child suffers pain, redness and massive shock. The father demands that the dog be put on a leash, but instead of understanding, according to the file, there is only insults and threats from Dirk K.
The problem is not the dog!
Explosive: An expert doesn't confirm that the Rottweiler is particularly aggressive – the problem is the owner. “Here you can only talk about encouraging the owner, simply through his normal behavior,” says the expert to RTL. From the investigators' point of view, this is exactly what makes the case so dangerous: a man who was diagnosed with a narcissistic personality and dangerousness uses a powerful animal to intimidate and hurt others.
And the dog attacks are only part of the charge. Dirk K. is said to have given drugs to minors and demanded sex in return more than 20 times, and he is said to have raped one girl in this way. He is also said to have brutally abused and raped his ex-girlfriend. In 2017, the Leipzig Regional Court sentenced him to three years and six months in prison because he gave drugs to minors in exchange for sex in the Leipzig area. In 2023 he will receive another eight months of probation for grievous bodily harm.

Now Dirk K. is in custody again, remains silent about all the allegations – and in the worst case he has to expect up to 15 years in prison and subsequent preventive detention. The hope for one of his alleged victims is clearly stated: His ex-partner tells RTL that she wants one thing above all else – “that he would simply be gone, ideally not out at all.” (ros)
