A meeting like this doesn't happen every day!
With “Unter uns” newcomer Marie Zielcke, a new face is coming to Schillerallee, which isn’t all that new. She takes on the role of Anna Weigel, who is of course well known to all fans. In keeping with this, there was now a special meeting on the series set. Janis Rattenni, who first played the role of Anna in 1994, meets Marie. What the “first” advises the “current” Anna and why the two have a very special “Among Us” connection can be seen in the video.
Janis Rattenni still works for “Unter uns”
From April 16th (episode 7851) Anna Weigel will be back on “Unter uns”. Marie Zielcke takes on the role – and thus provides a breath of fresh air in Schillerallee. “Among Us” fans know: The role of Anna Weigel has been recast several times over the course of the series’ history. She was from 1994 to 2004 by Janis Rattenni played.
In fact, the two actresses have a very special story in common. They have mutual acquaintances who have always seen the similarity between the two. “That's why I heard years ago: Do you know Janis? You need to get to know each other. You're so similar. I always thought: Who is this Janis?”says Marie.
And there’s another fun fact: Janis Rattenni now works behind the camera and directs “Unter Uns”. This means that Anna number one, of all people, is now directing Anna number four. A detail that makes the story surrounding the role even more special.
“It’s a different life!”
And how does it feel for the two of them now? Very relaxed for Janis: “I have a lot of distance from the role because it was a really, really long time ago. And that's why it feels good because I don't have a problem with it now. I'm happy that Marie is here. And yes, it really was a long time ago, it’s a different life.”
Marie can only agree with this: “It's the same for me. I know that she was the first Anna, but I don't always have that on my radar. I actually had a mini fan moment because I just think she's cool as a director because she does cool things. But I actually hoped that she wouldn't think: 'Oh shit, who did they hit on? For God's sake!'”
