A dispute at Ikea in Hanau escalated. A woman suffered injuries after an altercation. The police are investigating and looking for witnesses.
Hanau – A dispute between a man and a woman occurred in the parking lot of the Ikea furniture store on Oderstrasse in Hanau on Saturday afternoon (April 11th). According to the Southeast Hesse Police Headquarters in Offenbach, the woman suffered minor injuries in the altercation.

According to previous information, the woman was walking in the area around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday when she was possibly overlooked by a driver crossing a pedestrian path. The passerby is then said to have hit the car that was passing by.
“After the driver got out, the subsequent conversation apparently escalated and ended with the pedestrian falling and injuring herself,” reported police spokesman Maximilian Edelbluth. Officers are asking witnesses to call (06181) 100120.
A few days earlier, a dispute had escalated in Bruchköbel: An unknown person used an irritant gun. In this case too, the police are asking for information.
