One murder – many suspects!
One might think that this death is the climax of a criminal GZSZ story. It's just the beginning of the real drama. Suddenly all GZSZ leading roles are under suspicion. It could have been anyone and everyone. Trust breaks. Doubts grow. Hold on tight, dear fans. Because in the next few weeks everything will revolve around the question: Who murdered Zoe? Yes, you read that right.
Lara Dandelion Seibert: “When I found out that my role Zoe was dying, I cried”
She lies motionless on the ground, a pool of blood beneath her. Zoe is dead, as you can see in episode 8,506 on April 22nd on RTL or on April 15th on RTL+.
But it's not just the characters who are in shock. Also for actress Lara Dandelion Seibert The farewell itself is a hard turning point: “When I found out that my character Zoe was dying, I cried. Not only because the role was ending, but also because I was leaving such a great team.” It's a farewell full of emotions – in front of and behind the camera.
Streaming tip: On RTL+ you can stream GZSZ around the clock and see new episodes seven days in advance

Who murdered Zoe (Lara Dandelion Seibert)?
And yet Zoe remains true to herself until the end. “She fights until the end for her daughter and her little family.” Her death will be loud, dramatic, unforgettable. “And that makes me very proud,” says Lara Dandelion Seibert.
GZSZ actress about her death scene
Lara has filming days behind her that she will probably never forget in her acting career: “Filming the death scene was just a bit cold and uncomfortable – lying on the floor for so long. The farewell scenes with Patrick Fernandez, who plays Carlos, were very emotional and sad for me. I had to cry so much because of course not only Zoe said goodbye to Carlos, but also Lara said goodbye to Patrick. Role and reality become blurred in a scene like this when you're so close to each other.”

As sad as her last scenes were, they are memories that she carries deep in her heart and that represent her entire GZSZ time. “After my last scene, the whole team came to the studio and there were a lot of tears. A farewell that everyone felt. I am very grateful and touched that the team is also so sad and appreciates me so much. Real connection. This means so much to me and GZSZ will always have a huge place in my heart. Part of it forever.”

Attention, GZSZ fans! “So Zoe still lives on in the series”
Particularly gripping: Zoe will continue to appear in the series even after her death, as Lara herself explains: “A twist that you don't expect. Because the viewers don't yet know who murdered Zoe, and Zoe also accompanies Carlos in his dreams. So the story doesn't end with her death. So Zoe lives on in the series. There are still a few emotional and dramatic stories to tell. Between memory and processing. It's worth sticking with it! More than ever.”
One murder – many suspects! You can look forward to that now
Now the entire GZSZ neighborhood is faced with the question: Who murdered Zoe? Who is the perpetrator at large?
Takes over the investigation Toni (Olivia Marei) – and in the process reaches its own limits. At her side: a new colleague, Holger Schmitt. A new team. A dangerous case. “This is an absolutely exceptional situation for Toni – she is extremely challenged both professionally and emotionally, especially after the separation from Erik,” says actress Olivia Marei. The pressure is increasing. With every trace. With every interrogation. And this is exactly where things get really intense: New sets and constantly new insights. “We're diving much deeper into police work than before. Interrogations, twists and turns, false leads. Nothing is safe. And no one.”
But the truth is coming to light – little by little. Is it a surprise or has the answer already been there – and no one sees it? The resolution will change everything in this GZSZ highlight in the summer of 2026 and shock everyone!
