The closure between the Distelrasen and the turnoff to Drasenberg on state road 3292 is expected to be lifted at the beginning of May.
Schlüchtern – The renovation of state road 3292 between Schlüchtern and the A66 is nearing completion – although the affected section will remain fully closed for several weeks. As the Central Hesse department of Hessen Mobil informed our newspaper upon request, the closure between the Distelrasen (Landesstraße 3372) and the junction to Drasenberg is expected to be lifted at the beginning of May 2026. As soon as this date can be “reliably specified”, the public will be informed in detail.
L3292 blocking is expected to remain active until the beginning of May
The background is the ongoing renovation of the L3292 and adjacent areas, including the accompanying cycle path and partly also the state road 3372 in the direction of Gomfritz. The work is now in the final phase. Three out of five construction phases have already been completed.
A full closure was set up for the last two construction phases in November 2025. This has been in effect since November 12th for the area from the Drasenberg confluence to just before Gomfritz. Access to Drasenberg remains possible from the direction of Schlüchtern. Traffic from the Schlüchtern-Nord junction in the direction of Flieden is also not affected.
