Unknown people rioted on a sports field in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district. The police are now looking for witnesses.
Ludwigsau – According to the police, the crime occurred between Tuesday afternoon (April 7th) around 3 p.m. and Wednesday morning (April 8th) around 7 a.m. During this period, the perpetrators entered the freely accessible area of the sports field on Lutherstrasse in the Friedlos district of Ludwigsau and intentionally caused damage there.

The rioters blocked a sink and turned on the tap. They also threw tables, benches, chairs and metal barrels from the stands down a slope.

This is not the only case of vandalism on sports facilities in the region: only recently Rioters raged on a sports grounds in Hünfeld and caused extensive damage.
