“You know, I’m always the first to share my news with you,” Beatrice Egli begins the video on Instagram. “A lot of new things have happened and because a lot of new things will happen, there will be no more Beatrice Egli show for the time being,” the singer explains. “I have made a decision and also communicated it to the broadcaster and the production company, full of gratitude for the wonderful programs we have made!”

The Swiss pop singer and presenter will go on tour in the fall and then concentrate on new projects, said SWR in Baden-Baden. In the video published on Instagram, the 37-year-old announces: “There is a lot of news.” Fans can expect an “exciting, stylish, cool New Year”. The SWR quoted her as saying: “You should stop when it is most beautiful.” There are new stories in her life that she wants to share with her fans.

The show is canceled after only eight broadcasts

Since April 2022, eight programs of “The Beatrice Egli Show” have been produced – two per year. All editions were also shown on Swiss television SRF. In recent years, all sorts of well-known singers from the German-speaking hit business have performed, including Andrea Berg, Roland Kaiser, Melissa Naschenweng and DJ Ötzi. Pop stars such as Sarah Engels, Luca Hänni and the Sons of Mannheim were also on stage.
