MKK cultural representative Andrea Sandow is retiring
Be it the cultural summer, the renowned culture prize or the big district anniversary “50 years of MKK” – Sandow leaves a clear mark. The district administrator particularly emphasized her professional expertise and her ability to inspire people about culture and history. Before her time in the cultural sector, she worked as a freelance journalist in the press department of the Main-Kinzig district.
Not only the top management, but also companions such as the head of the cultural department, Dr. Anselma Lanzendörfer, human resources manager Jan Jakobi, deputy equal opportunities officer Ulrike Schmid and staff council chairman Philipp Steuber praised their appreciative and humorous approach. Sandow herself looks back gratefully on the past few years: For her, switching to the cultural sector was “great luck and an extremely fulfilling job”.
Sandow is now handing over her field of activity into new hands without any worries. She knows that the responsible tasks are in good hands with the new head of the culture department, Sandra Li Männel. With many “moving moments” in her luggage, Sandow is now starting her new phase of life.
