Anna-Maria and Anis' marriage crisis came as a surprise to many. The blessing in the Ferchichi house had actually been going wrong for a long time. In a new podcast episode, the couple remembers a past trip that ended in a heated argument. And it was so bad that the two even traveled home separately…
Anna-Maria Ferchichi: “Our crisis didn’t happen overnight”
In a new episode of the RTL+ podcast “In bed with Anna-Maria and Anis Ferchichi” the couple says that a weekend trip to Italy is coming up. The two of them are really looking forward to it because they haven't been away without their kids for a long time. They don't even have fond memories of their last trip to Rome. “I realized then that we were in quite a crisis,” recalls the mother of eight in conversation with her husband about their vacation a year and a half ago.
“I still remember what triggered the argument, do you?” he turns Anna Maria then on Bushidowho agrees: “When I think about it now, I also think: What was wrong with us? Really, how far it was. That was crazy.”

Neither of them goes into detail. That is just too “embarrassing”. But the argument ended with the couple consistently avoiding each other. How is this possible when traveling home together? “We had an argument, then drove to the airport separately and sat separately on the plane.
