After a serious accident, the police are looking for a man aged around 30 who fled the scene on foot. His car remained on its roof.
Kalbach – A serious accident involving a hit-and-run occurred on Veitsteinbacher Straße late on Friday evening (February 27th), as the police announced. At around 9.40 p.m., a green Audi crashed into a black Opel Astra parked on the side of the road for reasons that are still unclear.

The force of the impact was so powerful that the Audi rolled over and ended up lying on its roof. According to the police, the person who caused the accident climbed out of the wreckage and fled the scene on foot instead of calling for help or taking care of the damage.
The officers at the Fulda police station estimate this to be around 70,000 euros. The focus of the investigation is now on finding the driver.
The police describe the perpetrator as a man around 30 years old, 170 to 175 centimeters tall, with short, blonde hair. At the time of the crime he was wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket.
The police are asking witnesses who can provide information about the fleeing man or who observed the accident to call (0661) 1050 or any other office.
An unknown driver also committed an accident in Gersfeld. According to police, he struck an oncoming car and then fled the scene of the accident.
