These are the symptoms of a milk allergy
A milk allergy is one of the most common food allergies in babies and young children. It occurs less frequently in adults, as the Allergy Check portal states. A milk allergy is different from lactose intolerance – even though the two can easily be confused.
People with a milk allergy have symptoms because their immune system considers the milk proteins to be a threat. These can be, for example: stomach cramps, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, itching or tingling around the mouth or lips and rash.
