In Sweden the national holiday takes place on Saturday (June 6th). The palace also published new pictures of Princess Estelle (14) and Prince Oscar (10).
Royal greetings on the Swedish National Day
Today Sweden celebrates its national day. The royal family has published photos of Princess Estelle (14) and Prince Oscar (10). The two children of Crown Princess Victoria (48) and Prince Daniel (52) can be seen stroking sheep near Haga Castle, among other things. Photos of the two of them from the past few years can also be admired on Instagram.
However, the current pictures of the young royals were already taken in advance. Princess Estelle will spend the national holiday outside Sweden as she is on a language trip, according to newspaper Aftonbladet.

Open day at the Swedish Royal Palace
According to media reports, the Swedish royal couple Carl Gustaf (80) and Silvia (82) are starting their national day celebrations at Skokloster Castle in the municipality of Håbo. King Carl Gustaf will give a celebratory speech there.
At the same time, Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel open the palace gates and welcome the public to a joint celebration. The palace has also published pictures on Instagram showing, among other things, Princess Victoria in Swedish costume.
There will be a children's program at the castle, as well as heritage lectures, before a 21-gun salute is fired from Skeppsholmen. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel will then go to Skönviksparken in Rönninge to take part in the celebrations.
