A 74-year-old overlooked an e-bike rider in Hünfeld. This resulted in a collision between the bicycle and the car and the cyclist was slightly injured. The senior simply drove on.
Hünfeld – The accident occurred around 6 p.m. on early Friday evening (May 29th) in Hünfelder Josefstrasse. A 37-year-old was riding his e-bike on the local bike path. The 74-year-old also drove there in her Mercedes. When she wanted to turn onto Abtsgrund Street, she overlooked the cyclist, the police report.
Senior woman hits a cyclist and commits an accident
The 37-year-old then hit the side of the rear of the Mercedes and fell. He sustained minor injuries. The driver drove on without stopping. A short time later, however, the police managed to determine her identity and find her.
The senior citizen now has to face criminal proceedings for fleeing a traffic accident. Meanwhile, has A 78-year-old woman overturned her Fiat in an accident on the A7 near Hünfeld. The woman was slightly injured.
