A new beer garden with a panoramic view over Fulda and the Rhön now invites you to linger in Antonius Park.
Fulda – On Thursday afternoon, May 28th, the “Stadtblick” beer garden at Antonius was officially opened. The name says it all: from the terrace, guests enjoy the view over the city center and the Frauenberg all the way across to the Rhön, as Antonius reports.

But it doesn't just stop at the view. According to Antonius, the new restaurant offers cool drinks, ice cream, sourdough pizza, grilled food and freshly tapped “Frauenberger Frohnatur”. Many ingredients come directly from the antonius network: for example, the pizza base comes from the antonius bakery, baked from grain from the antonius farm.

Families should also feel comfortable in the “city view” and the surrounding park. An open games and craft afternoon takes place there every Thursday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. – without registration. Changing creative activities and numerous outdoor games ensure exercise and fun for children.
“This is not just a beer garden, but a place for encounters and gatherings,” emphasizes Christian Bayer from Antonius. “Everyone is welcome. This is yours and our beer garden.” Together with Hendrik Pudlo, he welcomed the guests to the opening. Pudlo, who works at the cash register and in service in the beer garden, said: “This is my new job. I'm happy that it's starting now!”

The “Stadtblick” beer garden is run by the inclusive team at the Antonius Café. According to the provider, it is open from Thursday to Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Most recently, Antonius also created an Indian garden – as an inclusive, intercultural and health-promoting learning and meeting place.
