A driver hit two pedestrians in Bad Soden-Salmünster. One of them had to go to the hospital injured.

Bad Soden-Salmünster – According to the police report, the two women wanted to cross the intersection when the green light was green at a pedestrian traffic light in the Romsthaler Straße/Badestraße area. An approaching Peugeot driver noticed this too late and collided with the two women.

The younger woman was released on site by the emergency services without any major injuries. However, according to police reports, the older woman had to be taken to the hospital with suspected bruises and a broken leg.

Witnesses who witnessed the collision are asked to contact the Bad Orb police station on (06052) 91480.

Meanwhile, the police in Hanau are looking for witnesses after a brazen theft trick: Supposedly out of gratitude, a stranger hugged an 85-year-old senior citizen – and apparently stole a valuable gold chain from her.
