It's hard to believe, but in 2027 it will actually be an impressive 25 years since DSDS first flickered across the TV screen in 2002. Of course this has to be celebrated. “Germany is looking for the superstar” will start a new season in 2027 and will also celebrate its 25th anniversary. Just in time for this, there will be another MEGA surprise next year.

Still ahead the new superstar of 2026 was found, one thing is already certain: there will be a new season of DSDS in 2027. It remains to be seen who will sing their way into the hearts of the jury. But not who will sit on the jury. We can announce that now. There is a repeat round.

YOU are fighting for the DSDS victory in 2026
Before DSDS continues in 2027, there will be a final decision on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Then the viewers decide who from the top 5 will become Germany's new superstar. Before the final evening really starts, Paco Simic and Abii Faizan will perform in the showdown duel against each other. The viewers then choose their new “Superstar 2026” from just four candidates at the end of the evening.
