Yvonne Woelke (47) and Peter Klein (59) are going their separate ways. While she speaks of relief, his pain runs deep. Particularly bitter: Peter only wants to find out what's really going on at an event, as he tells us in the video.
After the separation, Yvonne Woelke is relieved
Peter Klein is on Friday (May 1st) at the Bild racing day in Gelsenkirchen. He's actually looking forward to spending time with his girlfriend Yvonne Woelke. But then he suddenly appears on site the separation addressed. “I actually found out about it through the photographers and press people. Of course, at first you stand there as if stunned and don't know at all what's happening”the 59-year-old explains to us in the interview, visibly depressed: “I mean, I loved the woman and I still love her.”

Yvonne, on the other hand, describes the end of love as a step that was necessary for her. “First of all, it’s a relief for me”she says in an RTL interview. Of course, a separation always hurts. Nevertheless, she prefers a clear cut rather than a situation that drags on forever. The actress cannot understand why Peter says that all of this caught him off guard: “He’s acting as if I ended the relationship with him at the picture race day.” From her point of view, both have talked about their problems before.
Is Peter Klein hoping for a love comeback?
Distance was obviously a big issue. Peter Klein lives in Mallorca, Yvonne Woelke in Germany. She hoped that they would see each other regularly. But at some point weekly meetings turned into intervals of several weeks: “When I’m not close, I distance myself.” While Yvonne tries to look forward and imagines her future in the video above, her ex doesn't seem to be done with the relationship yet.
“Inwardly, of course, you hope that it can happen again”says Peter. It remains to be seen whether this will lead to another love comeback – but one thing is already clear: the last word has probably not yet been spoken between Peter and Yvonne.
