
An elderly man from Bad Soden-Salmünster has become a victim of tricksters. Unknown people stole the senior's bank card and used it to withdraw cash.
Bad Soden-Salmünster – According to the police report, the fraud took place on Monday afternoon (May 4th) around 3 p.m. in the Hausen district of Salmünster. An unknown woman had previously called the senior, pretended to be a bank employee and made him believe that there had been an incorrect debit from his account.

Finally, a collector appeared on Hausen's Buchenstrasse to have the pensioner hand over his bank card, PIN and cash. He stated that this was necessary to protect the man's assets. Instead, the fraudster used the card to withdraw money from an ATM on Turnerweg shortly after 3 p.m. with the stolen card.
The person picking up the car is described by the senior as follows: around 1.80 meters tall, strong build, dark, short hair and a dark full beard. He was wearing white pants and a white shirt. The police have not provided any information about the amount of cash stolen.
