
Unknown people first cut the cables of a photovoltaic system near Flieden and then stole them. The police are now looking for clues about the perpetrators.
Flieden – At around 7 p.m. on Sunday evening (May 3rd), the operating company of the photovoltaic system along the L3141 between Flieden and Rückers noticed a system failure. The East Hesse police headquarters reported this in a statement.

When an employee on site wanted to take a look at the damage, he was amazed. Immediately before the disturbance, unknown persons had gained access to the area by pushing open the gate. They then cut the cables between the modules and stole them. The police cannot yet provide any information about the extent of the property damage or the value of the loot.
The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the crime or the possible perpetrators. Anyone who has made suspicious observations or noticed suspicious people or vehicles in the area of the photovoltaic system during the period mentioned is asked to call (0661) 1050 or via the Online watch to report.
