“It’s not necessarily for everyone!”EEZ farewell with serial death! Silvan-Pierre Leirich prepared in a special way
Richard makes a special decision!
After almost 20 years in front of the AWZ camera, Silvan-Pierre Leirich would like to try something new again. For this reason, he is saying goodbye to the series and with a bang. Richard has decided for himself that he wants to die in a self-determined way. For his last trip he goes to Switzerland with Simone (Tajana Clasing). The actor now tells us in the video how it feels for him and how he prepared to play such scenes.
Silvan-Pierre Leirich has been there since the first AWZ episode
What started in 2006 with the first EWZ episodeends tragically in 2026. Richard's body rejects his transplanted heart and the entrepreneur has lost all hope of a cure. That's why he decides to end his life in Switzerland. This means that his role dies a serial death. For actor Silvan, it was an emotional moment that required the right preparation, as he explains in the interview: “The most important thing with a topic like this is that you deal with the topic of death, with finitude and also with death. That's not necessarily for everyone, but that's necessary if you want to play it believably, if you want to feel into it. So that was the most important thing for me.”

“I have also lost many people to death in recent years!”
Being able to play the scene so emotionally also has something to do with Silvan's private environment. “I've lost a lot of people to death in the last few years. That's why I've always been a little close to it.”said the actor.
Silvan emotionally imagined what it would be like if these were his last days. Of course, that takes its toll on you: “But it's also extremely tiring and emotional. That was tough.”
