Cars, e-bikes and a stroll through the shops – at the weekend Fulda city center becomes an outdoor fair with special experiences.
Fulda – This is taking place for the fifth time Outdoor fair fulda.mobil.experience which the Parzeller publishing house invites you to on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th together with the cooperation partner Citymarketing.
Mobility fair “fulda.mobil.erleben” in Fulda city center
The event is much more than a new products fair for cars, campers, motorcycles and bicycles. The exhibitors encourage visitors to visit their stands with numerous exciting hands-on activities. Great prizes on the Wheel of Fortune, a Formula 1 racing simulator, an obstacle course for skateboards and scooters, a bouncy castle, a horizontal bar with a hanging challenge and a craft station – the exhibitors have come up with a lot to provide variety.
In addition, several shops in Fulda city center offer special promotions. So nothing stands in the way of a relaxed shopping trip. On the second day of the event there will also be a Sunday shopping event from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with many shops in the center of Fulda taking part. As a special highlight, the “Living Shop Window” campaign on Sunday (2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.) brings selected sales areas and shop windows to life.
The mobility fair takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event also has an impact on traffic in the city center. Friedrichstrasse and Rabanusstrasse – between Universitätsplatz and Sturmiusstrasse – will be closed, the city announced. The one-way street regulations in Nonnengasse and Mittelstraße will be lifted. These streets become dead ends. The Zentrum/Universitätsplatz underground car park can be reached via Rabanusstrasse from the direction of Peterstor.
Several streets closed due to trade fair in the city center
The areas mentioned will be closed for construction on Friday, April 17th from 8 a.m. “In general, only residents with a resident parking permit, delivery traffic and people who want to use the severely disabled parking spaces there will be permitted to drive on Nonnengasse,” explains the city.
There are also changes to bus transport: During the closure period, the “Universitätsplatz”, “Peterstor” and “Marienschule” stops cannot be reached. Line 1 (Petersberg) and line 12 (Petersberg) run from the city palace via Heinrich-von-Bibra Platz to the central bus station, line 6 (Bronnzell), line 8 (An St. Johann) and line 16 (Aueweiher) travel via Lindenstrasse to the “Brauhausstrasse” stop.
