That's why Gustav Schäfer missed the beginning of Show 5 today

A performance, a flight and then straight to the dance floor.
Gustav Schäfer has an extremely tight schedule before show 5 of “Let’s Dance”. “It will be a little hara-kiri action,” explains the drummer, who has another show with his band immediately before his dance performance. He explains to us in the video above how tight his schedule really is and how he plans to overcome the challenge.

While the fifth show of “Let's Dance” is already underway, Gustav Schäfer is on a completely different stage: On Friday evening he will be at the “Radio Regenbogen” awards in Rust with Tokio Hotel. But don't worry. Gustav has a plan. Immediately afterwards we continue towards Cologne at high speed – first by car, then by plane, then again by car. The distance? Almost 403 kilometers. That sounds like a lot of stress, but the musician takes the challenge sportily: “Together we can do it!”

He himself knows that it won't be a walk in the park: “It'll be a little hara-kiri action.” After all, the schedule is extremely tight – from the performance at 8:35 p.m. we go straight to the airport, then on to Cologne and from there to the studio. Despite everything, Gustav remains optimistic: “I'm trying as hard as I can. Everything is organized.” His goal: to arrive on time enough to be able to warm up. Because he definitely wants to dance. “If something goes wrong now, it's unfortunately out of my control. But I don't want to assume that, I'm thinking positively now.” He receives support from the entire team: “The entire production is behind me. (…) We try to do everything humanly possible to make it work somehow.”
