
A 25-year-old died after a knife attack in Hanau. The fatal argument happened a month ago and a 17-year-old is being investigated
Hanau – As the police reported a month ago, the young suspect and the 25-year-old got into an initially verbal argument on a bus. This then developed into a physical altercation that escalated at Freiheitsplatz in Hanau.
25-year-old dies after knife attack in Hanau
The 17-year-old attacked the 25-year-old with a knife and seriously injured him. The man was immediately taken to a hospital, where he remained in a coma for several weeks. He died of his serious injuries at the end of March, as the police and public prosecutor's office reported in a joint press release on Wednesday (April 8).
The public prosecutor's office and the criminal police are now investigating the 17-year-old on suspicion of homicide. A 23-year-old is also said to have been involved in the dispute; according to police information, he was slightly injured.
