From Monday (March 30th), Schlossstrasse at the corner of Pauluspromenade will probably be partially closed for almost two weeks. The reason is to repair road damage.

Curve in front of Fulda City Palace partially closed from March 30th
During construction work, one side of Schlossstrasse must be closed in the area where it meets the Pauluspromenade. The closure begins Monday (March 30) and is expected to last until April 10, according to the city. A temporary traffic light will be installed to regulate traffic. Pedestrians will be redirected via the zebra crossing near the Palais Altenstein. There are no diversions for bus services.
There may be traffic restrictions around the construction site. The city therefore recommends planning alternative routes and allowing more time if necessary.
The intercity roads in the Fulda district are also always in need of renovation: The The road construction authority Hessen Mobil has therefore planned 38 construction projects throughout the district for 2026.
