
The “hausplus” construction trade fair started with the best weather. For three days, from March 20th to 22nd, everything at the Fulda-Galerie exhibition center will revolve around building, renovation and financing.

A major focus is the area of “renewable energies”, which around a fifth of the exhibitors deal with. In addition to heat pumps and photovoltaics, systems are presented that combine energy generation with storage and e-charging stations.
Starting signal for the “hausplus” construction trade fair at the Fulda exhibition grounds
After 80 exhibitors last year, this time there are 100 registered companies. 90 percent of the exhibitors come directly from the region. The organizer of “hausplus Fulda” is the Ravensburger Veranstaltungsgesellschaft (RVG). The Parzeller media group accompanies the trade fair as an official media partner. Other partners are the Fulda District Crafts Association and the city of Fulda.
At the opening there was a discussion session at the RhönEnergie stand, moderated by Bernd Loskant, editor-in-chief of the Fuldaer Zeitung. Among others, Christoph Abel, deputy district master craftsman, mayor Dr. Heiko Wingenfeld, district administrator Bernd Woide (both CDU) and trade fair manager Stephan Drescher, managing director of the Ravensburger events company.

Abel emphasized that local craftsmen are available as partners to anyone who wants to build or renovate. The topics of climate, environment and energy efficiency are currently particularly moving people. “You can find out more about this at ‘hausplus’.” Trade fair boss Drescher was pleased that the Hessentag couple also came to the opening.
The gates opened for trade fair visitors at 10 a.m. Anyone who has a construction or renovation project ahead of them can get competent advice and get to know the latest construction and living trends at the “hausplus” construction trade fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. over the next three days.

Among other things, prefabricated houses, wooden houses, solid houses and self-built houses are presented. Anyone interested in building materials will find information on wood and clay construction or insulation materials. Exhibitors will also be showing skylights and balcony railings, fireplaces and stairs, infrared cabins and sleeping systems, insect protection and air purification, carports, garden sheds and roofing. The city of Fulda, the district of Fulda, the district craftsmen's association and the AOK are also on site.

A highlight for many visitors is the lecture forum. At 34 appointments, experts will talk about, among other things, photovoltaics, heat pumps, burglary protection, real estate financing and funding. The lectures will be offered every 30 minutes on the three days of the trade fair.
