The Fulda construction fair “hausplus” starts in nine days, on Friday, March 20th. For this purpose, an almost 3,000 square meter hall is currently being built at the Fulda-Galerie exhibition center.

Fulda – There has been a lot going on at the Fulda exhibition center since early Monday morning: More than a dozen trucks are gradually driving onto the site and unloading over 100 tons of building material, as the Ravensburger Veranstaltungsgesellschaft (RVG) reports. Starting on Wednesday, a mobile crane will erect the pre-assembled elements of the hall, which will ultimately offer almost 3,000 square meters of exhibition space and a height of around 12 meters.

It is being built on behalf of RVG, which is organizing “hausplus” in Fulda for the third time. The trade fair's partners are the district craftsmen's association and the Parzeller media group. Be in the hall There will be exactly 100 exhibitors representing everything related to construction, renovation and conversion. The tent builders will need a total of seven days to set it up until around the end of the week, followed by stand builders, electricians and plumbers with the interior work before the exhibitors set up their stands from Wednesday (March 18th).

1125 floor elements and 176 wall elements are used for the construction, 500 pegs are driven into the ground with sledgehammers to stabilize the construction. “Many of our stand operators need electricity. That's why we have almost two and a half kilometers of cable laid under the hall floor,” explains Daniel Sassen, Technical Manager at RVG. The hall can also be heated.

“We are really looking forward to the opening and to three exciting days with many interested people in our hall,” says trade fair boss Stephan Drescher from RVG. For him is “hausplus” is already a success story: “Fulda has received this trade fair very well; it has quickly become an important platform for the East Hesse region. There will certainly be many orders placed at and after the trade fair again this year.” They are also “talking to partners about further projects”. The fair is open from Friday to Sunday, March 20th to 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
