According to the information, the incident occurred on Saturday, February 28th, around 11 a.m. in the Ahl district. According to a statement, a dog owner was walking with her four-legged friend near a playground when the animal ate something. After the dog vomited, the owner took him to a veterinary clinic, where he was treated and ultimately survived.

Animal protection organization offers reward for information

According to previous findings, the suspected bait was a cube-shaped piece of chocolate. The officials assume that it was prepared with rat poison and have initiated an investigation on suspicion of a violation of the Animal Welfare Act.

The criminal police are now looking for the person or people responsible and are asking for information by calling (06181) 100 123. Dog owners in the Bad Soden-Salmünster area, especially in the Ahl district around the playground in question, are urged to be particularly careful.

The Petersberg police motorway station is also asking for the public's help. She is looking for someone unknown Driver who lost stones and a pallet from a trailer on the A66 near Neuhof and then fled. Several vehicles drove over the objects.
