In Künzell, Morocco and the USA followed suit. They also qualified as group winners for the final round on March 19th in Flieden. The halls were packed, the atmosphere was great, the games were sporty, attractive and fair at all times – this was and is allowed to continue on Tuesday (March 10th) in Neuhof and on Thursday (March 12th) in Hünfeld.

The third matchday in Neuhof continued on Tuesday with the preliminary round groups E and F. The teams from Ecuador (Schloss-Schule Neuhof) and the Netherlands (Brothers Grimm School Steinau) won.

On the third match day, the focus was once again on the talents of tomorrow. Many a scout will be on the lookout again this week to spot the best football talents. For example, Sabrina Arnold and Christine Link, who are looking for the best female soccer players for the Hessian Football Association.

The duo will be on site on all five days of the tournament and have already found a whole eleven of potential players. And who knows? Maybe there is yes among the participants the next Shekiera Martinez, who comes from Fulda and most recently played for the first time in the German women's national team from the start.

Speaking of Germany: The DFB team entered the Mini World Cup on March 10th as part of Group E – and did a little dance show in the run-up to the tournament. As at the World Cup, the German team, represented by Ahornschüle Lütter, competed against Curacao, Ecuador and Ivory Coast.

The Netherlands, Japan, Austria and Tunisia started in Group F. Now, before the big finale on March 19th in Flieden, there is the last preliminary round game day in the district sports hall in Hünfeld. On Thursday, March 12th, the teams from groups G and H will compete here to determine the last two participants in the final round.

The Mini World Cup teams from Belgium, Egypt, Spain and Uruguay compete in Group G, while England, Croatia, Ghana and Colombia compete in Group H.
