According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday (March 4th) around 6:30 p.m. from Eichenzell in the direction of Flieden. Shortly before the Neuhof tunnel, the stones and the pallet fell from a car with a trailer onto the road. According to a witness, the alleged perpetrator stopped briefly on the hard shoulder, but then left the scene of the accident without leaving his personal details.
The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident. Anyone who can provide information about what happened or the license plate number of the perpetrator is asked to call the Petersberg police motorway station on (0661) 969560, any other police station or via the Online watch to report.
