The former bachelor Andrej Mangold and influencer Annika Jung – now Annika Mangold – are married. The former RTL Rosenkavalier and his pregnant partner got married in a civil ceremony at Tegernsee – in a small circle, with family and close friends. The newlyweds then celebrated in the Bachmair Weissach clubhouse. “Hello from Mr. & Mrs. Mangold,” wrote the 39-year-old groom and the 34-year-old bride on Instagram. The couple's outfits can also be seen in the photos: Andrej appeared in a light blue three-piece suit with a vest, white shirt and light tie; Annika wore a tight-fitting white wedding dress that emphasized her baby bump, with transparent tulle gloves with pearls.
The couple was clearly keen to get married before their son was born. “Our son will be called Mangold and Annika is now also called Mangold. That means a lot to us,” the two explain, according to the “Bild” newspaper. The two of them keep to themselves which week of pregnancy Annika is currently – in order, as they say, not to put any pressure on themselves from outside and to enjoy this time together.
Shortly before the couple entered the registry office, Andrej and Annika had a moment alone. “We could hardly look at each other because we both had tears in our eyes,” they told the newspaper. “At that moment we just realized that we were about to say yes.” During the actual wedding, things were similarly emotional. Andrej: “Our voices were shaking and we both had to keep pulling ourselves together. I had actually planned to say a few more words myself, but we were so emotionally touched that I just couldn't do it.”
The story of the two is not a straight path. After three years of relationship, Mangold and Jung separated in February 2025 – the reconciliation followed four months later. In January 2026, Mangold made a point in the Maldives: During a supposedly harmless boat trip, he asked Annika the crucial question. The pregnancy followed a little later.
The newlywed couple isn't allowing themselves too much time off for the time being. They fly to Mallorca for a few days, then work calls: Mangold will be in demand at the EuroLeague Final Four in Athens next week. A larger wedding celebration with the whole family will be held next year.
