However, this is a challenge because each player in the human football table has their hands fixed to one of the three poles per team. So you can only move together to the right and left, similar to a table football figure. “For success, team spirit is just as important as coordination and a good feel for the ball,” explains Mayor Benjamin Tschesnok.
He himself will try out the human kicker and is looking forward to its premiere in the market hall. The event begins with an opening game at 12:30 p.m. The tournament for children and young people up to 15 years old starts at 1 p.m. We are looking for youth teams from sports clubs, children's and youth fire departments or school classes, among others.
Registrations are now possible. The tournament for young people aged 16 and over and adults begins at 3 p.m. “Who would like to take part? Where are the leisure teams, fair societies, companies, regulars' tables, fire departments and the like that would like to take part?” asks the city of Hünfeld.
Each team needs six to eight players. Teams can register by email until June 10th kultur@huenfeld.de register. There is no entry fee. Each participant receives a food and drink voucher for the market hall. At the children's tournament, the best placed winners receive vouchers for local restaurants.
