It's almost that time again: The Eiterfeld bathing park opens its doors on Sunday (May 10th) at 9 a.m. and invites all citizens and guests from the region to the start of the new bathing season.
Eiterfeld – Fittingly, the opening falls on Mother’s Day again this year. From this day on, the bathing park will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The community reports this. Under the proven management of operator Kay Thimet (Thimet GmbH), the bathing park is looking forward to the new season with optimism.
New to the team is employee and lifeguard Maximilian Roth, who, together with the entire swimming pool team, will ensure safety and smooth operations. The kiosk, run by Francesco Paolo Menin, also provides a varied gastronomic offering so that your physical well-being is well taken care of.
Badepark in Eiterfeld starts the new season on May 10th
The first 50 mothers can look forward to a little surprise on opening day – a big thank you for Mother's Day. The market town of Eiterfeld is looking forward to a sunny and successful swimming season and wishes all visitors a lot of fun and relaxing hours.
Advance sales for annual tickets will take place on Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. directly in the bathing park. It is recommended to take advantage of this offer to avoid waiting times on opening day. The municipality points out that annual tickets are only issued with a current photo and are not transferable.
According to the municipality, the admission prices remain family-friendly. Discounts are granted for schoolchildren, students, severely disabled people and holders of certain volunteer and bonus cards, among others. Children under 6 years of age as well as members of the fire brigade's operational departments as well as the children's and youth fire brigades and the honorary and senior citizens' departments have free entry.
The Eiterfeld bathing park is scheduled to be completely renovated and upgraded in 2026 and 2027. The community representatives decided this in April 2025. 5.1 million euros are to be invested for this.
