
A man is said to have inappropriately touched a 13-year-old on a Schlüchtern bus. The police are investigating a sexual offense.
Schlüchtern – Update from April 17th, 3:31 p.m.: After the incident on a bus in Schlüchtern, the police provisionally arrested a suspect on Friday morning (April 17). The 59-year-old is accused of sexual abuse.
Officers from the Schlüchtern police station had received a tip about the man and found him shortly afterwards between Schlüchtern and Herolz. The 59-year-old had to go to the station temporarily. He has not yet commented on the allegations. The investigation is ongoing.
Sexual harassment: Man inappropriately touches 13-year-old
First report: As the police headquarters in Southeast Hesse reported, the crime is said to have occurred between 1:40 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon (April 15). Accordingly, a 13-year-old was sitting on a bus that was traveling from Herolz towards Schlüchtern city center when a man sat down next to him.
He then began to touch the boy inappropriately. Both the man and the boy got off at a stop near a supermarket on the corner of Breitenbacher Strasse and Lotichiusstrasse. The suspected perpetrator left there in an unknown direction.
The teenager describes the man relatively precisely: He should be around 40 to 50 years old, around 1.70 meters tall and of slim build. According to the description, he has black hair with gray roots as well as a “slightly dark complexion”, a slightly curved nose and short stubble. He is said to have been wearing a dark sweater and dark pants. His accented and stuttering manner of speaking was also noticeable.
The criminal police are now investigating suspected sexual offenses and are asking for information from witnesses by calling (06181) 100-123.
The police are also investigating suspicions of attempted murder in Schlüchtern: A 36-year-old is said to have injured a 59-year-old woman with a knife.
