Franjo Pooth brought his son Rocco from the crisis area to Germany
Rocco was in Dubai at the time of the escalation in the Middle East. As the situation in the region worsened and numerous flights were canceled, the teenager was stuck in the metropolis on the Persian Gulf. Luckily, the 14-year-old wasn't left to his own devices: Louisa, the girlfriend of his older brother Diego (23), and the parents of a friend looked after him on site. But when the situation escalated, Franjo Pooth decided to travel to him and accompany him to Germany. After the two of them traveled across several countries, they arrived back there at the beginning of March.
Verona Pooth then thanked Instagram for “the lovely messages and the great support” on the platform. “In the last few days I have once again felt how true an old saying is: shared suffering becomes easier – and shared joy doubles,” wrote the mother of two. “The relief, the joy and this feeling when you finally hold each other in your arms again can hardly be put into words. In moments like this you realize again that family is always the most important thing in the end.” (spot on/vho)
