Garage in Sinntal on fire: car burns out completely
The fire departments from Schwarzenfels, Mottgers, Weichersbach, Sterbfritz and Altengronau as well as the turntable ladder from the Schlüchtern fire department were on site. A car burned out completely in the garage. Thanks to the quick measures, the fire was quickly brought under control and prevented from spreading to other buildings. The subsequent extinguishing work was complex. In order to eliminate embers, the roof of the garage had to be partially opened. The fire department has not provided any information about the cause of the fire or the resulting property damage.
A few days earlier there had also been a serious accident in the Main-Kinzig district. An Audi driver had an accident on the A66 near Hanau. He left the road, broke through a guardrail and landed in a forest.
