The Fulda musician Tobias Sammet and his metal project Avantasia rocked the Hessentagsarena on Cathedral Square. 7,000 fans celebrated. As part of the “Here Be Dragons Summer 2026” tour, it got really loud in front of the cathedral on Tuesday evening. “Fulda, come on, hands up, two and a half hours!”, local hero Sammet encouraged his happy audience. The most impressive person was probably musician Ronnie Atkins, whose serious cancer was hardly noticeable. The weather also cooperated. It only rained a little briefly, at the start of the concert.
