As early as August 22, 2025, Jérôme B. was reported for multiple rapes of a ten-year-old girl by her mother, as the French news portal BFMTV revealed. The then ten-year-old girl Rosa is said to be a friend of Jérôme B.'s daughterwho was regularly at his house.

“When my ex-partner asked, 'Did he rape you?', my daughter replied, 'Yes,'” says Audrey, the mother of the then ten-year-old girl told BFMTV. Her daughter Rosa confided in her and her ex-partner at the time. “She told us about the penetrations and said that it hurt her a lot,” explains Rosa’s mother, who collapsed afterwards.
But: Jérôme B. put the young girl under massive pressure after the crimes and threatened suicide if she didn't take back her statement, according to BFMTV. “He says he will hang himself if she doesn't admit she lied“, explains Audrey. Rosa, who was ten at the time, is said to have withdrawn her accusations out of fear.

But Audrey's mother reported Jérôme B. in Toulouse in August 2025. But to date, the suspect has still not been questioned in this serious matter, BFMTV reports.

“My client is still considered innocent; he was never heard or questioned as part of this investigationt,” emphasizes one of Jérôme B.’s lawyers to BFMTV – even though the complaint was submitted nine months ago.
Audrey, the mother of one of Jérôme B.'s alleged former victims, is therefore certain: The disappearance of eleven-year-old Lyhanna could have been prevented. The judiciary simply should have acted more quickly.
The girl was last seen in the defendant's car on May 29, 2026. There is still no trace of the missing eleven-year-old. Jérôme B. is in custody, but remains silent.
