After rapper Capital Bra got his fans excited with disturbing images on TikTok on the night of Sunday to Monday, his manager Drilon Cocaj gave the all-clear in response to an RTL request this morning: “He's feeling better. He's sleeping and resting from the three shows.”

Capital Bra had previously shown in a live stream how he was driven to a hospital in an ambulance. He was visibly beside himself and repeatedly called for help. When he arrived at the clinic, he told a doctor that he had taken drugs. His manager RTL also confirms this: “He took something at one show and then continued in Berlin. At some point he had a panic attack.” These were cocaine and alprazolam. However, withdrawal is out of the question for the 31-year-old: “He is too impatient for that and would break it off again.”

Accordingly, Drilon Cocaj is also worried: “I'm his closest friend and business partner, so of course you're extremely worried when the doctor says: 'If he doesn't stop doing this soon, his life could be over.' I told him that very clearly on the drive back home from the hospital. Somehow I feel like he really understood that this time.” Capital Bra is a father of five, which his manager made clear to him: “I told him yesterday: 'You've decided to become a father five times. Your kids need you.' Don't just do it for yourself, but for her too. Please stop this shit!' I hope he does it this time. He has to want it on his own.”

Capital Bra: “I was afraid for my life”

That night, Capital Bra himself reports after being released from the car. Speaking to his manager, he explains: “Brother, I was hypothermic. My hands are still cold.” He then emphasizes how dramatic all of this was for him: “It could have cost me my life. Anything could have happened. I was afraid for my life, if you want to know for sure.” He criticized that he had not been helped quickly enough. “Just because you rapped about drugs – that's not cool. (…) Then you have to go live, not cool at all.”

Capital Bra, whose real name is Vladislav Balovatsky, has been considered one of the most successful rappers in Germany for years. He celebrated his big breakthrough in 2018 with his album “Berlin Lives”. He usually keeps his private life under wraps. At the beginning of March he announced via Instagram that that he became a father again. Daughter Alina is “healthy and fit”. It is his fifth child.
