Schlüchtern – The thorough renovation of the town thoroughfare in Schlüchtern’s Elm district continues to progress. The sixth construction phase will be asphalted from Monday, April 20th – the work is scheduled to last until Monday, April 27th.
As the city announced, construction will be carried out in sections and on one side at a time. Drivers therefore have to adapt to changing traffic patterns. First, the construction workers arrive in the area between Eisenbahnstrasse and Huttener Strasse. There, in the direction of Schlüchtern, first the asphalt base layer and then the top layer are installed. During this phase, passage is only possible in the direction of the cement works and huts.
