Hanau – The father of the Hanau attacker is dead. “As has now become known, the perpetrator’s father recently died,” said Hanau’s mayor Claus Kaminsky (SPD) on Friday. About the cause of death man who has repeatedly come into conflict with the judiciary the city did not provide any information.

The father was sentenced by the Hanau district court to a fine totaling 21,600 euros for incitement to hatred, attempted coercion, insults, violations of the Violence Protection Act and false suspicion. He appealed against this verdict.
